Cela me rend triste.

As a lifelong lover of nature and biodiversity, I am deeply committed to promoting respect for the environment in all of my art. Growing up in the countryside, I witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of human behavior on the natural world. This has inspired me to make it my life's mission to create art that celebrates and honors the beauty and importance of nature.

When I first began my career as an independent artist in 1999, I focused on creating sculptures of insects and spiders as a way to express my gratitude for the natural world. These sculptures quickly found a home in gardens, where they seemed to belong perfectly among the plants and flowers.

Over the years, my artistic vision has evolved, and I now create abstract and monumental works that engage with the environment in different ways. By placing my sculptures in specific settings, I aim to draw attention not only to the artwork itself but also to the space in which it is situated.

All of my sculptures are crafted from recycled iron, reflecting my commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Since 2002, I have lived in the beautiful southwest of France, where I continue to be inspired by the natural world around me.

Dit maakt me verdrietig.
